Wanna appear smarter in a split second?
No, this time it's not about new vocabulary, smart blazers or
briefcases. There's a simple item, known for ages, that makes wonders
with our image. Glasses.

My story
I wore them for the first time in my
life at the age of 8 until the age of 17. Then I swapped them for
contacts, however, I never really got rid of glasses – it's
impossible for someone with -7 diopters to go without glasses (what
if I lose a lens? I'm blind as a bat then). Usually I use them in the
evenings when I want to sleep in and read a book at the same time...

Another important aspect of wearing
eyeglasses are open-air festivals. In my opinion it's one of those
events where you're don't have the possibility to sleep in a tent and
have hands clean enough to change your lenses. Remember when I told
you about the Woodstock festival in Kostrzyn? My glasses always win
there.
What's so special about glasses?
Nowadays, glasses
are a fashion item. Whether you choose aviators, wayfarers or a
narrow rectangular frame – it says a lot about you. They can
flatter your beauty and/or express your feelings and fashion sense.
Where to look for the perfect glasses?

ReplyDeleteI don't need glasses but my boyfriend wears glasses before going to sleep etc. (just like you said about yourself). mostly he wears contact lenses though.

Oh, you look really great in your glasses!
ReplyDeleteI hate my glasses, I wear them as little as possible. T___T They were really expensive, so I can't really discard them, but I think I don't look good in them. I always have the lenses put into the frames at an optician's office after getting a prescription and even though the choice of frames is huge, nothing fits me... I guess I'll probably have my eyes re-examined and if my eyesight got worse, I'll try to get new frames with the new lenses... (end of self-pitying)
