Watercolors and social networks

Hello friends!

Recently I've been having a social network crisis of some sort and I'm struggling to remove myself from as many places as possible. But don't worry - I'll stay here (also on twitter, pinterest and behance to present my designs). I only need some synthesis of all my stuff scattered all around the web. I wonder what are your reflections on it - are you 100% comfortable with people looking you up online and keeping track of your life? Aren't you worried that some parts of your life should be kept more intimate?

Another thing is, that I finished my basic painting class. It was a little irritating as I painted before and I thought I could manage with more difficult topics. It's true - but I didn't realize that I don't have enought patience to complete the easiest tasks well! It taught me a lot, not painting as such, but patience, humility and what not. I'd like to show you some of my watercolours from that period.

Hope you like them and see you soon!
Kasia

  3. I love to use watercolors, they are like therapy to me, I usually paint when I have sometime and need to relax a little bit. I like your watercolors, specially the second, the colors are warm and vibrant, perfect to remind us of summer.

Good Luck with your social networking, I am not a big fan of social networks, except Pinterest and GetGlue but these days I think it is important to use them, even to look for a job. Has for my private life, I simply don't share many information about me, except the this I do like to share, for example in my blog. I think we can control what people know and do not know and it's up to us to decide. (:

    Have a nice week!

    1. :) The second watercolor was actually an expression of the summer sky :)

You have the right balanced attitude in my opinion! I'm trying to have a similar one. Thanks so much!

  4. Wow, I've always considered water colors to be really difficult to manage! Great job with these artworks, they really look quite professional. :)

TBH, I'm only on FB and I keep all posts and information "friends only". I don't even have twitter or tumblr or pinterest and what not. I even removed myself from some blogging communities. I'm not that worried baout my privacy, but sometimes I wonder if it's safe to have a blog where one posts pictures of herself... But I guess creeps don't really target bloggers preferentially; and walking alone at night is equally dangerous whether one has her pics online or not. XD

    1. I was thinking the same and I deleted all of them :P I don't like the world we live in. We should be able to feel safe in everyday situations and express ourselves freely, the way we want to. And yeah I think so too that it wouldn't be so easy to track down a particular person. Especially not a smart and well educated person like you :)
